Urine drug and alcohol test onboard service analyses urine for the presence of certain illegal drugs and prescription medications. Alcohol can also be included in screening tests, but it’s usually detected through breath tests rather than urine screens.
The test is done by a licensed toxicology Officer (MRO) who functions independently of the testing laboratory and meets the qualifications established. The MRO is responsible for receiving laboratory results generated by an employer’s drug testing program and evaluating medical explanations for certain drug test results.
